Classic Caesar Salad
Crisp hearts of romaine tossed with a creamy anchovy dressing, garlic croutons, and shaved Parmigiano.



Method
Cook this dish straight through. Read the steps once before you start.

Step 1Toast sourdough cubes with olive oil and garlic until golden.

Step 2Whisk anchovies, garlic, yolk, Dijon and lemon, then stream in olive oil.

Step 3Tear romaine into a large bowl and toss with enough dressing to coat.

Step 4Top with croutons, shaved Parmigiano and cracked black pepper.
