Salmon Teriyaki
Pan-seared salmon glazed with a homemade teriyaki sauce that turns shiny and lacquered on contact.



Method
Cook this dish straight through. Read the steps once before you start.

Step 1Whisk soy, mirin, sake, sugar and ginger and simmer until syrupy.

Step 2Sear salmon skin-side down until crisp, then flip briefly.

Step 3Brush with teriyaki glaze and continue glazing until shiny.

Step 4Top with sesame seeds and scallions and serve over rice.
